1. First, you need to register on our website. If you already have an account, go to Login.
2. Select the type of "exam" and choose the desired subjects. If you are booking multiple sessions, only select a portion of the subjects at a time.
3. Once you have selected the desired subjects for the session, click "Add to Cart".
4. Then, click on the Cart button to complete the bookings.

If you want to convert your ICAO ATPL to an EASA ATPL, please contact Austro Control in advance.

Pilot Examination Services FlexCo handles the registration for the theoretical exam with Austro Control (this is your official registration with Austro Control).

A session lasts three hours. There is a 45-minute break between sessions. You can also book two sessions in one day if you are taking several subjects or more than three subjects. A fee of €120,- is charged for each session. PPL exams (9 subjects) must be completed on one day.

All regulations for EXAMS/PILOT LICENSES as outlined on the Austro Control website apply. Austro Control monitors the exams via a video system.

The session fee for infrastructure, management, organization, and exam supervision at the Examination Center Salzburg is €120,- per session (regardless of the type and number of subjects). Your payment is NOT refunded in case of no-show or cancellation.

The examination tax from Austro Control is charged in addition and is included in the session fee. Therefore, you will NOT receive an additional invoice from Austro Control. You will receive an invoice from Pilot Examination Services FlexCo. In case of no-show or cancellation, regardless of the reason, your payment is NOT refunded.

Only the registration forms listed below are accepted for exam registration!

• Aeroplanes Form Registration for theoretical knowledge examination - aeroplanes (austrocontrol.at)
• Helicopter Form Registration for theoretical knowledge examination - helicotper (austrocontrol.at)

The correctly completed "Registration for theoretical knowledge examination" form, signed by your flight school, must be uploaded to the dashboard under Bookings by the registration deadline (see Exam dates: "Registration until").

If all the icons in the dashboard are green, we have everything. You will not receive any further confirmation emails.

The exam is conducted according to Austro Control's conditions. Please see their website or the FAQ which aids are allowed during the exam.

We ask you to familiarize yourself with the exam software in advance; a demo exam is available at LPLUS TestStudio.

You will see the exam results immediately after completing each subject. Austro Control will send you the results via email after the exam. If you pass all subjects, we will send you the signed results by mail.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the exam time.
