Purposes and data

We process your personal and contact details, date of birth, identity documents, school forms, bookings, examination documents, payment and invoice data for registration, identity verification, examination organisation, billing and related communication. The required information is necessary for a booking. Without it, we cannot organise your examination.

Processing for contract performance is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; compliance with statutory accounting and retention duties is based on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR. Security logs and records of business transactions serve our legitimate interests in secure operations and resolving claims (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Acknowledging this policy does not constitute blanket consent.

Recipients and examination arrangements

One week before the examination, we send the booking information, identity details, seating plans, identity documents and forms required for the examination to Austro Control GmbH. Erasing a local profile does not delete copies already held by Austro Control. Austro Control does not impose a retention period for these documents on our examination centre.

Depending on the payment method you select, the banks involved, PayPal or Mollie receive the data required to process the payment. Our accounting department receives final paid invoices. Hosting and email service providers process data to operate this website and deliver related messages.

Retention and manual profile erasure

Data is retained for as long as needed for ongoing bookings, payments, resolving claims or statutory retention duties. Invoices and related accounting records are kept for the statutory retention period. The continued need for examination documents and account data is assessed upon an explicit request or during a manual review. Accounts are not deleted automatically and profile erasure is not scheduled. Future reservations, outstanding invoices, payments, disputes and other ongoing business matters must be resolved before erasure.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Statutory duties and legitimate claims may prevent erasure. You may lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority. Information from the Data Protection Authority

Analytics with Matomo

With your consent, we use the self-hosted analytics system Matomo to improve how our website is used and navigated. We do not record passwords, form contents, uploaded documents, payment data, or security and activation tokens. You can withdraw your consent at any time through Cookie settings.

Please provide complete and accurate information, keep your contact details up to date and protect your login credentials. Use your account for your own examination bookings. Bookings and payments are governed by the linked general terms and conditions. Sitting allocation and approval by Austro Control remain authoritative.
